Test experiment s2025a. Observing stations: Mg, Ws Nominal start time: 2022.01.25_21:05:00 Nominal stop time: 2022.01.25_21:15:22 Start: 2022.025.21:05:00 End: 2022.025.21:15:22 Stations: mg,ws # Needed for CDDIS software Goal: to test a fine feature in the complex bandpass in order to improve phase calibration. The feasibility of "freezing" of a non-linear feature for processing consecutive observations will be investigated. If non-linear features are indeed stable, then this can be used as an a priori for polarization bandpass calibration. In that case only a phase offset and a phase rate per IF can be adjusted. The reduction of degrees of freedom will improve robustness of polarization bandpass determination. Success criteria: to determine non-linearity in phase and amplitude bandpass with a high fidelity. Two sources will be observed: 0212+735 and 1803+784 for 5 minutes. These sources have substantially different parallactic angles. Thus, consistency of polarization bandpass calibration can be evaluated. Both sources have correlated flux density over 1 Jy at baselines longer than 5000 km.
