Session Notes for v1708, CONTV1708 December 5, 2017, DOY 339 Prepared by David Gordon, NVI, Inc./GSFC =========================================================================== This is number 8 of 15 CONTV17 sessions. Participating stations are the VLBA stations and MEDICINA, SESHAN25, WETTZ13N, and YARRA12M. The frequency sequence is the same as in recent RV sessions. X-band: 8365.75, 8445.75, 8805.75, 8925.75 MHz S-band: 2232.75, 2262.75, 2352.75, 2372.75 MHz. Bandwidths are 8 MHz and 2-bit sampling is used. The frequency ending in .75 MHz is necessary at the VLBA stations. Therefore it will not be possible to monitor phase cals using the 10 kHz filters. Participation by SC-VLBA is doubtful, since their internet communications have been down since two hurricanes in September. However it was tagged along in case it is able to participate. There are 5-minute breaks scheduled for WETTZ13N every three hours for some multi-technique observations.
