Session Notes for APSG (Asian Pacific Space Geodynamics) session: apsg37 Prepared by C. Thomas, NVI, Inc./GSFC =========================================================== The primary purpose of this Asian Pacific Space Geodynamics (APSG) session is to continue monitoring the relative motions of the plates in the Asia-Pacific region. This session involves twelve sites on the four plates. Hobart-12m, Katherine, Warkworth, and Yarragadee are on the Australian Plate. Urumqi, Tsukuba, Kunming, and Sejong are on the Eurasian Plate. Kokee is on the Pacific Plate. Kashima-34m, Kashima-11m, and Koganei are on the North America Plate. Thus, this session will produce critical data for the investigation of the current crustal motions in the Asia-Pacific region combined with the data from the APSG SLR and GPS campaigns.
