NETWORK ======= The standard configuration of the JADE projests consists of five stations. Shintotsukawa cannot participate winter season session. Kashima 26m station will be dismantled because it become too old for work. After that the network configuration become four stations. Station: Code Kashima Ka Tsukuba Ts Aira Ai Chichijima Cc Shintotsukawa S3 SCHEDULE ======== This schedule was made by S. Kurihara using sked. Schedule setup parameters: Early start 20 sec Minimum scan length 70 sec Maximum scan length 784 sec Minimum SNR 20 at X-band (margin 3) 15 at S-band (margin 3) Automatic scheduling setup: optimize for uniform sky coverage at all stations, maximize the number of observations, minimize slewing time, minimize time between scans, consider the top 20% of ranked scans for selection, consider the last 4 hour of scans for sky coverage calculations, minimum 30 min between scans on the same source. The characteristics of the generated schedule are listed below. These will vary slightly for each schedule that is generated. Schedule characteristics: Average scan length 261 seconds Median SNR 55.0 at X-band 45.0 at S-band Number of observations 1363 observations Average scans per station 169 scans FREQUENCY SEQUENCE ================== Name Code JPK4-SX K4 Recording mode setup for: KASHIMA TSUKUB32 AIRA CHICHI10 SINTOTU3 Mode Tot.Rate Tot.BandW #chan #bits C 112.000 Mbits 56.000 MHz 14 1 Chan.BW #Subpasses Tracks(*fan) Tot.tracks 4.00 MHz 1 14(*0) 14 X-band spanned bw= 360.0 MHz rms spanned bw= 140.2 MHz S-band spanned bw= 85.0 MHz rms spanned bw= 33.1 MHz Actually the K4 recording system has 16 channels but we don't use last 2 channels.
