CORE-B107 #2757 tar-save will be created 1998 Mar 11-12 Processing factor = 6.2 DOY 070-071 96% have FRNGE Q.F. of 2 or 5-9. *** Note to analysts: Keep QF=2 codes in analysis. *** DSS65: 25% of S-band QF's are 2 codes because fringe amplitude in S channel 1 is consistently ~60% lower than in other channels. (Pcal amplitude is not low.) Channel was retained because it still gives fringes in virtually all cases, thanks to DSS65's high sensitivity. Ny Alesund: 1) Receiver was warm during expt. 2) ~10% of S-band scans are D codes due to unreadable track 23 during first part of expt. 3) Antenna stowed for ~1 hour due to high winds. Onsala: Parity error rates >1.e-3 on all tracks on many forward scans. Heads have since been replaced. Wettzell: Stopped observing 9.5 hours before end of expt to begin upgrade work on antenna.
